Suntory Yamazaki 10 Year Old

A self-initiated piece celebrating the Yamazaki 10 Year Old, one of the first Japanese single malts to reach the market. We chose it to push our work on liquid, glass and light, above all the caustics: the bright amber patterns thrown as light bends through the bottle and the whisky, built to hold up in a hero shot. The 10 Year was discontinued in 2015 and later succeeded by the excellent 12 Year, but it remains a landmark release, and the Suntory legacy lives on.
